    Update: Internet Explorer Security Flaw

internet explorer security flaw compromised chain

It has come to our attention that a major security flaw has been identified in all versions of Internet Explorer which, if compromised, can put a user’s personal and business data at risk. Users are at risk if they browse a website that is compromised or one that runs compromised advertisements. Browsing such websites can expose your computer to malware that can lead to data theft, of both personal and business information.

Our Systems are Safe for Internet Explorer

Start Work Now, Arise and Client websites and systems are safe for the continued use of Internet Explorer – users DO NOT need to change their browser to access system websites. However, to ensure the security of your personal and business data, we encourage you to follow the industry’s recommendation to use an alternate browser for personal internet browsing purposes. Finally, please ensure that your computer’s anti-virus software is up-to-date.

Refer to the Microsoft Internet Explorer Use-After-Free-Vulnerability Guidance from US-CERT for additional information.
